This month we’re proud to recognize Manny Flores, whose hard work, kindness, and dependability have made him such an important part of the Dakota family for nearly 18 years.
👋 Role: Warehouse Supervisor, Waco Corporate
📅 Years With Dakota: Since September 2008 — nearly 18 years!
A day in Manny’s world? “Very busy hustling!! Making sure things get done!” 😄
Favorite part of the job: Helping others, leading his team, advising customers on their projects, and making someone’s day!
Something you may not know about Manny: He has three brothers and one sister.
🌞 Morning person or night owl? Morning person
🍎 Go-to snack? Fruit — especially apples & watermelon
🥤 Go-to drink? Coke Zero
🏖️ Beach or mountains? Both!
🎸 Favorite music? Rock
🎬 Favorite movie or TV show? Terminator 2 & Knight Rider
🐶 Dogs or cats? Dogs
When he’s away from work, you’ll find Manny spending time with his family, going out to eat, going to church, playing soccer, or working on a woodworking project.
His coworkers would describe him in one word: Team player.
One piece of advice that’s stuck with Manny is:
“If you are going to do something, do it right. Go the extra mile!”
And what’s he most proud of? His wife and kids.❤️
Manny is one of those people you know you can ALWAYS count on. He goes out of his way to help wherever he’s needed and goes above and beyond while doing it. He is truly one of the kindest and hardest-working guys we have — the definition of a good man.
