What have we been up to over here? Just taking all the last bits of summer in and keeping myself busy so I don’t have time to think that my first baby is going to kindergarten this week. She will do so so great but will miss my partner in crime bossing me around 24/7 😅

Kids are all into rock painting so we decided to do some kindness rocks and plan to put them around Rush City. Have you seen this before? We love finding other people’s! 💜

We planted loads of sweet corn this year and decided to can that stuff right up to get us close to 50 pints 😜 So happy my kids eat one bite and walk away from the rest 🤪 Glad they’re great helpers! Only fought one time thru it all, winnnnn!

Fall subscriptions start THIS WEEK! 4 weeks of blooms with lots of dahlias and sunflowers in the mix. Pickup at Clean Haven on Thursdays (or fridays if ya can’t make it Thursday)! $80 😊 If you bought my summer subscription, you buy only 3 bouquets and get the last week on me for supporting me through the past summer. People like you keep me going through the hot, summer months!

✏️ Calling ALL Teachers! This is a post for you!

As many of you know, we are raising our family in small-town Rush City and Emma starts her first year in kindergarten! Excited, nervous, all the feels! As a tight knit community, we like to support each other in every way possible.

As teachers start heading back to their classrooms and gearing up for the new school year, many have been sharing Amazon Wish Lists on their personal pages. I thought it might be helpful to have one place to share these lists for families and community members who would like to help support our teachers.

TWO THINGS- Teachers, please post your lists! Students/parents, please share who your teacher is and what school AFTER you have found their list and made a donation (big or small!) to their classroom! I’ll be bringing 💐 bouquets 💐 the first month of school to share the love with them!

I’ve been a bit quiet over here, simply because I haven’t had a mobile device for nearly 3 weeks but the cell phone is secured in hand but now to hook up to cellular service. Okay, yessss, I’m a cheapo that buys the unlocked refurbished ones on Amazon so that’s why it’s been a nightmare getting my insurance claim through.

Otherwise, nothings changed! I’ve literally cut every possible flower in my field the last 6 weeks and sold every one. That tells you that things have been BUSY! Doesn’t mean things have been all butterflies and rainbows over here. The crop failures and crop planning fails (that I thought were brilliant at the time) have me wishing we could skip ahead 8 months so I don’t have to wait to try all the new garden experiments until next season 😅

What happens when you gather a wonderful group of women who are there to laugh, enjoy each other’s company, spend time with the people they love, sit down, slow down, and simply be present?

You get our 2026 Garden Party. 🌿

And oh, what joy it brought. Thanks to every single person who came and made this year's gatherings what they were. I simply enjoy meeting everyone and getting to the roots of why I started this business. Connection, pretty flowers and joyfulness. You can't beat that.

I have not had a phone for 2 weeks now and while the first week was great, the second week has been a little tricky (or a lot of tricky).

Last week, I had the honor of creating the funeral flowers for Cody's grandma, Carole, using nearly all of my own flowers.

She passed away in June unexpectedly, and while flowers can never fill the space someone leaves behind, I hope they reflected just how deeply she was loved. She was an incredible great-grandma to our two kids, and the kind of love she gave is something that can never be replaced.

Walking through that week was another reminder that life is so incredibly precious. We get caught up in busy schedules, endless to-do lists, and always thinking there will be another weekend to gather. But the truth is, none of us know how much time we have with the people we love.

That's really what the garden party at Clean Haven is all about. They're not just flowers or a beautiful meal, they're about creating space to slow down, connect, and share meaningful moments with the people who matter most.
