Williamson Foundation Repair

Williamson Foundation Repair The Most Trusted Name in Foundation Repairs! Serving the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex since 1985.

Roger Williamson founded Williamson Foundation Repair in June 1985 as a summer job. Recognizing the need for local expertise in countering the expansive nature of the soils in the Dallas area, Roger went into business full-time after graduating from Baylor University. Since then, Williamson Foundation Repair and On the Level Foundation Repair have been recognized among the leading foundation repai

r specialists in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. In 1999 Roger changed the name to On The Level Foundation Repair, but changed back to Williamson Foundation Repair in 2010 due to a similarly-named competitor garnering BBB complaints. Both company names are still in use and all warranties under either name are still honored. This name change was made in an effort to more closely guard our reputation. Today, Roger Williamson continues to personally supervise most jobs. With almost 30 years of experience, you may never find a more qualified foundation repair specialist working on your home! Williamson Foundation Repair installs all 3 primary types of piers: Concrete Pressed Pilings, Drilled Concrete Piers, and Double- Walled Steel Piers. We only recommend the type of pier that will provide a long-term solution to your unique foundation problems, but we also try to provide the adequate solution at a reasonable price – we never “up-sell” the most expensive pier! In addition, we pride ourselves on our non-destructive approach to your yard. We strive to leave your home looking the same as when we arrived…except that your problems are fixed.

Texas summers don’t play nice with your foundation but your soaker hose can.

When the heat kicks in, consistent moisture is key to keeping soil from shrinking and pulling away from your slab. Set it up right and let it do the heavy lifting for you:

💧 Over 100°: water every other day
💧 85°–100°: water twice a week
💧 70°–85°: water once a week
💧 Below 70°: take a break—your soil’s good

Keep the hose placed a few inches away from the foundation and let it run slow and steady (this is not a “blast it and hope for the best” situation).

A little consistency now can save you from a very expensive “why is there a crack there?” moment later.

Have you noticed a corner of your foundation chipping, flaking, or “popping” off? This is commonly called a slough corner and the good news is, it’s usually cosmetic, not structural. 🏡

Slough corners happen when the edge of the concrete begins to break away over time due to moisture, weather, or normal aging. While it may not look great, it typically does not mean you have foundation failure.

In many cases, it can simply be patched and painted with no long-term concern.

When in doubt, it’s always a good idea to have it inspected for peace of mind! 💪

Texas summer heat is here ☀️🏡

Take a walk around the perimeter of your home. If you notice a gap forming between the soil and your foundation, your foundation is telling you it needs moisture ASAP.

❌ Don’t fill the gap with dirt
❌ Don’t stick a hose directly into the space

Instead, place a soaker hose about 10–12 inches away from your home and allow the soil to slowly and naturally rehydrate and expand. This helps the soil properly support your foundation again.

Consistent moisture is key—especially during hot Texas summers. 💧
