Wow, you really do see it all up on these roofs! 🤦‍♂️ Take a look at this!

It looks like an old pipe was removed, but instead of patching the area properly, the old metal flashing was left in place and a torn piece of shingle was sealed right over the hole!

While we definitely admire the resourcefulness, quick fixes like this (especially with those exposed, rusting nails) are sneaky ways for water to eventually find its way inside. A leaking roof can be stressful, especially when storms are on the horizon.

For every home, we remove every layer down to the decking and started fresh with a full tear-off. We add a synthetic underlayment and make sure all valleys and penetrations get ice and water barriers. All vents and pipe flashings are replaced before installing Class 3 impact-resistant shingles. We finish with matching ridge shingles and drip edge for a clean look.

Every project ends with a careful clean-up and magnetic sweep for stray nails. We want our clients to feel confident after a big job like this.

Not every roof problem is easy to spot from the ground.

In Liberty Hill, we tackled repairs across several homes, including a full replacement for one roof that needed a fresh start. We used ice and water barriers and synthetic underlayment to make sure every repair was built to last. Our focus was on solving leaks and making sure each home is ready for Texas weather.
