Congrats to Kelsie F! The Rolesville Garden Club invited the community to our event, “name the patriotic bear” in honor of America’s 250th birthday. Kelsie submitted the winning name, “A-Bear-ica!”

Kelsie is a rising 6th grader at Thames Academy in Rolesville. She operates her own business, “Kelsie’s Book Boutique,” which offers customers a “Blind Date With a Book” …. a fun take on book resales offering cool accessories. You can find her books in Southern Suds and Gifts! When not in school or working her business you can find Kelsie playing soccer (go Quails!) and enjoying family time along with her dog Copper.

Kelsie is honored to have been selected as the winner and looks forward to participating in future town events.

Every single morning I check to see new blooms, if the rabbits or deer helped themselves, and I feed the birds. Quite a lovely hobby.
