I graduated from college with a Pre-K-12 Art Education degree from Pittsburg State Universit

y. My life journey took me on a different path, and I am no longer in education, but work in business. However, the artist in me still lives strong, and I am excited to dive deeper into the creative realm by sharing my skills and creativity with others! Since graduation, I have continued working on my art on a personal level, as well as for a few family members and friends. After college, I tried dabbling in a variety of mediums including, but not limited to: oil pastels, acrylics, charcoal, watercolor, ink, marker, material, and even icing! (Yes, I decorated cakes for a while, haha!)
In obtaining an art education degree, you are required to explore a variety of art techniques; this caused a serious struggle when finding what artform was right for me. In the end, I decided to use them all! Haha! I've "contained" my art to live in the art classification of Mixed Media. With this, I apply a variety of art mediums (acrylic, found objects, material, ink, paper, etc.) on a canvas to create one cohesive piece of art with inspiration from my surroundings. I am thrilled to be sharing my art with a broader audience! I hope you enjoy what I have to share with you and encourage you to FIND YOUR HAPPY!
