National Dessert Day seems like the perfect excuse to show off a new kitchen.

Worth saving. 🤘

This historic porch took a pretty serious hit from a tree, but we weren't about to let that be the end of it.

Restoring a porch like this takes a lot of measuring, fitting, repairing, and careful work to bring it back while keeping the character of the original.

A tree may have knocked it down, but it did not get the last word.

This one rocks. 🤘

Basements get a bad reputation for being dark, creepy, and full of things you probably do not want to find. And sure, they can be. 😂

But underneath your home, the basement has some serious jobs to do.

Moisture control matters. Proper drainage, waterproofing, and sealing help keep water from finding its way inside.

V***r barriers matter. They help control moisture moving through walls and floors, protecting the space from excess humidity and the problems that come with it.

Ventilation matters. Exhaust fans and proper airflow help move damp air out and keep moisture from building up.

Structure matters. Basement walls, footings, beams, posts, and floor systems all play a role in supporting the weight of the home above.

So yes, the basement might be where the creepy stuff lurks—but it is also one of the hardest-working parts of your house. Make sure it is built, sealed, supported, and ventilated the right way.

Underneath it all, there is a lot more going on than meets the eye.

Cabinets are never just cabinets. 🔨

We have installed cabinets in everything from apartments to custom homes on a hill, and while every project looks different, one thing stays the same: the measuring and the details matter.

Some projects use stock cabinets. Some are more custom. Some get countertops made in-house, while others are cut and finished by a local granite shop. However we are putting the project together, we take the time to make sure everything fits, functions, and looks the way it should.

This house started with fire damage and was taken all the way down to the studs. From there, we rebuilt it from the inside out.

Drywall, finishing, paint, new flooring, and all the details that turn a gutted house back into a home.

These photos were taken toward the end of the project, when everything was starting to come together. It is always pretty satisfying to see just how far a house can come.

This ceiling needed more than a little patchwork, so we gave it a full reset. Jon repaired the existing drywall issues, installed new drywall, finished and textured everything, and wrapped it up with a fresh coat of paint.

Sometimes the best way to fix a ceiling is to start fresh. Now it is smooth, clean, and ready to look up at.

Sometimes a shower just needs a fresh start. 🚿

Jon replaced the shower pan, installed new tile, and finished it off with a brand-new shower door. A simple update, but one that makes a big difference in how the whole bathroom looks and functions.
