Bellissimo Design Studio Home Renovation & Design (with a strong focus on kitchen and bathroom remodeling) Bellissimo Design Studio was founded by Darla Kurtz, a northeast Ohio native.

After working for over 15 years in various trades within the design field; stone and marble manufactures, cabinet shops, and kitchen and bath specialists; Darla found she had developed a unique perspective on the design discipline. In 2009 she decided to fulfill her dream and establish Bellissimo Design Studio. Twenty projects later, Bellissimo Design Studio is growing. We make a friend, complete

Challenges on this project came out during the demo. We discovered that the remodeler from years prior had removed six foot of the main support beam. We also had low ceilings and minimal light. The rooms were closed and not nearly what a master suite should look like.

This kitchen and bath remodel was a favorite. The location of the high rise building that housed these two spaces didn't take advantage of the views from the kitchen. We found a way to open the view and still seperate the living room from the kitchen. The bathroom was small and dark without a large enough shower. We took out walls and hand selected these gorgeous marble slabs to brighten it up.
