It was a great morning at the Town of Ponder Chamber of Commerce meeting! ❤️

Avid received such a warm welcome, and we’re excited to get involved in the Ponder community!

This morning, we helped stuff welcome bags for new residents, heard an update from PISD Superintendent Dr. Hill, and learned more about how we can support the Ponder Police Department’s Operation Jingle Bells. 🔔🎄

We’re proud to call the Town of Ponder home and look forward to getting involved, building relationships, and supporting the community around us!

🏢 We’re settling into our new Ponder office!

Moving is no small task, and we wanted to give a big shoutout to a few great local businesses that helped make our transition a smooth one.

🚚 Hawk Movers LLC out of Haslet did an incredible job getting us moved and back up and running in just ONE day!

🔑 Ponder Hardware has been our go-to for all those extra things you realize you need after a move. And a special thank you to Hunter for quickly—and correctly—getting us 20 new keys!

We’re grateful for great companies, great people, and such a warm welcome to the Ponder community.

Friday’s are for FUN! 🎯

The Avid Electrical Contracting team had a great time at the American Subcontractors Association - North Texas Chapter Clay Shoot! It was a fun day of friendly competition, team bonding, and connecting with others in our industry.

Thank you, ASA, for putting together another great event. We always enjoy the opportunity to get out of the office, spend time together, and build relationships with our industry partners.

Avid Electrical Contracting is excited to welcome Efrain Diaz to our team as our new Director of Engineering!

Efrain brings more than 35 years of electrical industry experience to Avid. He began his career in 1991 as an electrical helper and has built an impressive career spanning electrical construction, project management, design-build, preconstruction, and engineering leadership.

Throughout his career, Efrain has developed expertise in project management strategies, value engineering, prefabrication, and VDC. His approach focuses on connecting design and preconstruction with field execution—helping teams work smarter, improve coordination, and deliver stronger project outcomes.

Efrain’s extensive field knowledge and leadership experience will be a tremendous addition as Avid continues to grow and strengthen our engineering and preconstruction capabilities.
