Just a reminder, with all the shopping this time of year make sure you don't leave any packages in sight in your car. If someone can see it, they will want to take it. At home get some timers to turn lights off and on while you are away. Most important remember the "Reason for the Season". To celebrate The Christ in Christmas.

Have you ever noticed that the things we take for granted, that which seems obvious to us. Others don't have a clue. Well that happened the other day. A friends remote broke and they could not start the car. I asked about a valet switch. Told them what they looked like, where they could be found. No luck. So I drive out to Palm Springs to bypass the alarm and get them home. Well when I got in the car right in the dashboard was the valet button. Just push it and the car will start with the key. So get familiar with your alarm. Find your valet switch. In case it gets lost or broken, or the battery dies. Get in the car alarm will sound put in your key push valet button and start your car.

We have had a lot of calls from customers having trouble with their safes. A fire proof safe protects the contents during a fire by releasing moisture into the safe keeping them from damage. The problem is that older safes lose the ability to do this, or the new ones from discount stores do it to much. This results in mold and test inside your safe. To help if you can use a ziplock bag. You can also make sure you open your safe regularly and let it air out.
