The Downtowne Bookstore has been a Riverside staple since 1979—I remember going here during my college years at UCR. Now under new ownership, all the special hometown aspects of the bookstore remain with positive new additions such as branded merch, new books, and fresh paint and signage.

Drop in at 3582 Main Street to support local, independent book sellers! Thank you to owner Dr. Jungmiwha Bullock and team for showing me around!

DID YOU KNOW: In 1887, the original plan for Mount Rubidoux was to build a hotel along the mountain's northeast face?

This is a proposed sketch of "Hotel Rubidoux," a massive structure combining several architectural styles. As construction began, Hotel Rubidoux was on its way to being the most picturesque hotel in California until the real estate market collapsed in 1888, causing all the stakeholders to abandon the project.

Eventually, the land was transferred to Frank Miller, who turned Mount Rubidoux into the public sightseeing attraction we all know and love today.

All that remains of Hotel Rubidoux is this picture.

Yelp Review: Thank you, Lori! "I love these guys! They showed up promptly at the scheduled time, wearing masks, and covered their shoes before coming indoors. Our windows had months worth of dirt and debris from our recent home renovation and are now crystal clear! I will definitely be getting on a regular schedule with them. Our house is a 2 story with sliding glass doors on the upper balcony. The work was thorough, fairly quick but not rushed and they will be coming back to replace some damaged windows screens for us. Finally, their pricing is reasonable and communication (super important to me) is timely and professional."

He even offered to go above and beyond service but since things were so hectic in moving in the next several days, my husband said he would get to the job of repairing many torn and old window screens. Also the pressure washing of driveway and backyard was very thorough and satisfactory. overall, I would highly recommend Blue Sky Window Cleaning for anyone looking to get a professional window cleaning service!
