Today’s visit started with mosquito control, targeting the trees, shrubs, and shaded areas where mosquitoes rest during the day.

While on-site, we also addressed ant activity using professional-grade baiting techniques, treated active carpenter bee galleries, and finished by applying fresh polymeric sand between the pavers.

Bees are EVERYWHERE right now in Bergen County & Rockland County 🐝

From carpenter bees drilling directly into wood trim, door frames, soffits, and rooflines… to entire yards covered in mining bee tunnels — this has been one of the busiest bee seasons we’ve seen in years.

Most homeowners don’t realize:
• Carpenter bees can cause repeated wood damage year after year
• Mining bees create hundreds of underground tunnels
• Activity is often worse underneath decks, eaves, mulch beds, and sunny dry areas

The craziest part? Some of these bees were actively drilling WHILE we were treating 😳

Warm weather, moisture, pet waste, and clutter around the home can quickly create the perfect conditions for flies. In this case, just a few days of buildup around the porch area led to noticeable fly activity near the back door and outdoor living space.

Most people don’t realize there are still active barns and stables tucked away throughout Bergen County, NJ — and where there’s feed, hay, and shelter… rodents eventually follow.

This week we were out servicing one of the more unique properties we’ve worked on recently, setting up LP bait stations, monitoring activity, and applying tracking dust around key rodent travel areas to help protect the stable and surrounding structures.

Customer kept noticing a smell coming from the crawlspace… turned out to be a dead animal underneath the home.

This is something we see all the time — the problem isn’t always visible, and spraying alone won’t fix it.

We went in, removed the source, sanitized the area, and sealed it up to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

If something smells off in your home, there’s usually a reason.

Customer was noticing activity in the garage—right next to the laundry room, so it was only a matter of time before it became an indoor problem.

This was a follow-up visit after setting traps and securing key areas… and this is exactly why callbacks matter. We’re not just dropping bait and leaving—we’re tracking activity, adjusting, and making sure the problem is fully handled.

Garage issues like this are one of the most common ways mice get inside, especially when there’s a direct connection to the home.

Customer heard scratching late at night and thought it was flying squirrels…

Turned out to be something much more common — open gaps around newly installed attic vents.

That’s all rodents need. One small opening = full access.

We sealed everything properly with stainless steel mesh, kept airflow intact, and set traps + tracking dust to monitor activity.

Most infestations don’t start inside… they start with how they get in.
