and sometimes, the couple didn’t even wait until the last minute.

The reality of live wedding painting is that i can only be in one place on one wedding day — which means dates can fill much earlier than people expect.

An inquiry or receiving my pricing doesn’t officially reserve your date. your wedding date is secured once your contract is signed and retainer is received.

Here’s something i wish more couples knew: you do not need every single wedding detail figured out before reaching out. If you already know you want live painting to be part of your day, we can start there. 🤍

Happy World Letter Writing Day! 💌

There is something special about opening the mailbox and finding an envelope with your name handwritten across the front- something created, chosen, and written just for you.

Research from Amit Kumar and Nicholas Epley, published in Psychological Science, found that people consistently underestimated how happy a letter of appreciation would make its recipient. We may worry that our words will sound awkward or won’t mean enough- but the person receiving them is often far more touched than we expect.

So perhaps the note you’ve been meaning to write matters more than you realize.

It doesn’t need to be long or perfectly worded. Choose a card, pick up your pen, and tell someone:

“I appreciate you.”
“I’m proud of you.”
“I’m thinking of you.”
“I’m grateful God placed you in my life.”

Your words might become the brightest part of their day- and one of those little treasures they keep for years.
