Bob Lytle founded Silver Hammer Additions in 1998, but its roots go back to his time spent working as a carpenter specializing in old houses in the early 1970’s. Projects include serving as Lead Finish Carpenter on the restoration of the Virginia Executive Mansion in 2000, during which he appeared on Bob Vila’s documentation of that project.
