We caught up with our Quality Concrete team early Friday morning in Cadillac, and they were already hard at work in the near dark! 🌄

The crew is working on a new whitebox build-out. That means we’ll finish the space up to the point where a new tenant can come in and decide the rest.

Fleet Friday: Allen Rehkopf

All that chrome and a long white hood: if you’ve seen this Nate Green rig rolling through Reed City, you’ve probably seen Allen Rehkopf behind the wheel.

Allen earned his CDL in 2020 and has been part of the NGT crew on and off for five years. He keeps coming back for the same reason a lot of our drivers do: the people. Every time he returns, he slides right back in like he never left.

Steady, reliable, and always ready to roll, Allen is a big part of what keeps Nate Green Trucking moving. Next time you pass him on the road, give him a wave! 👋

Meet the Team:
Bryan Brown, Project Manager

Bryan has spent 40 years in construction, 26 of them in commercial and industrial work, and has been a licensed builder for more than 15 years. He started out as a custom cabinet maker, and that eye for detail still shows in every project he leads. He’s been with Ge**er since 2019.

You’ve likely driven past his work. Bryan has managed projects including Chemical Bank in Cadillac, West Michigan Credit Union in Reed City, Family Health Care in Big Rapids, and the Sauble, Elk, Eden Fire Hall.

When a project calls for quality work and practical problem-solving in the field, Bryan is the one keeping it on track. 🏗️

Fleet Friday: Meet Austin Grein

If you’ve seen this orange beauty rolling down the road with a load of heavy equipment, that’s Austin Grein behind the wheel. He handles all of our heavy equipment and machinery runs, delivering the machines our crews rely on and bringing them home when the job is done.

Austin has been driving for eight years and learned the trade from Nate Green himself, before Nate Green Trucking became part of the Ge**er family. He first joined us in 2022 for a year and came back in April 2026 for his second round with the team.

Welcome back, Austin. We’re glad to have you and that truck on the road again.

🔪 Sharp blade, every time. Dull blades take more force, and force is what makes them slip.
🧤 Cut-resistant gloves on, body out of the blade’s path.

Fleet Friday: Dave and the 40-Meter Pump

Yesterday we shared that Dave Hoekwater was our corn hole champion. Today we're recognizing the work he's known for. Dave has been with Ge**er since January 2020 and runs our concrete pumping operation. When a pour calls for precision, speed, or placement that's hard to reach, he's the one our crews count on.

His truck is a Kenworth T880 with a KCP 40-meter boom. It lets us place concrete exactly where it needs to go, across large slabs, over obstacles, and into tight spots, without extra equipment or wasted time. Dave knows every inch of that machine, from setup to cleanup.

The pump truck and Dave are also available for outside projects, based on availability. If you have an upcoming pour that could use an experienced operator, contact us at (231) 832-2792 to check the schedule.
