I didn't know what to do with this page after the seed giving project but then, I came across some of her recipes that were given to me and wanted to share them.

I, Delilah , went searching my recipes for one in particular and came across her fudge recipe.
I know she was known for it so, this is the first recipe of Pomm's I am sharing.

It's been about a month since the last post here at Pomm's Collection, but we are just garden-focused!

I am sure that it will take quite a long time to see much feedback from the seeds that we shared with the community, but, it will be so neat when the hollyhocks bloom.

In the meantime, Jean's loved ones are sorting through family photos and archiving our family history.

If you have photos or history from Jean Sigler, or her long time departed husband Jerry Sigler, please share them with us here!

We'll check in again sooner, than later.

Ravenna Branch of the Muskegon Area District Library, thank you for helping us share Pomm's Collection with the community she loved!

We're very grateful to have been given an assortment of seeds from Pomm's Collection, distributing seeds in the memory of Shelva Jean Sigler. If you're interested in picking up seeds, we currently have packets of Red Hollyhock available as well as a small quantity of various other flowers.

If these aren't the particular seeds you're looking for, but you are interested in planting this year, we will be hosting an instructional program on how to order seeds from the MADL seed library on Tuesday, March 18th.

I got about 100 packs of seeds from Pomm's Collection ready to share with Ravenna Branch of the Muskegon Area District Library .

I spoke with the Librarian, August, and will deliver these seed packs next week.

Most are the Red Hollyhock but there are a few other kinds of flowers, and also, some generic lettuce.

Hello!

Pomm* loved plants, gardening and collecting seeds.

While going through her seed collection I realized that there were A LOT of certain seeds and wanted to makes sure that I shared them with family, but, also her community.

Jean Sigler lived in Ravenna, MI for the majority of her adult life.

I plan on bringing some seeds to share in honor of her upcoming birthday.

The majority of the seeds that she left to us are Hollyhocks, thus the cover photo. These are typically biennial plants that give generous seeds.

Please let us know if you found some seeds, I would love to see the results of sharing what she loved.

*A note, about her nickname.
I don't know where her nickname actually came from but as her oldest grandchild, I named her. :) I insisted on always using two "M's", but, Pomm... she only used one.
That tid-bit gave me a chuckle and I wanted to share.
