We recently removed a tree that had a major structural split and a large cavity in the trunk. While the outside damage was obvious, what we discovered once we started working told an even bigger story.

Nearly every major limb had small cavities forming inside. Cavities are a sign that decay has been developing over time, weakening the internal structure of the tree.

What Is Root Rot Fungi — And Why Should You Care? 🤔
