Sunglasses are fitted with polarized lenses. Bent lamination construction is used to maximize the natural strength of the wood while preserving the material’s inherent beauty. Spring hinges are used to increase the durability and comfort of the glasses. These wooden glasses are exceptionally lightweight and strong as well as stylish and unique.

After a series of 7 hand made jigs each pair of glasses needs a bit of hand work before installing hinges and temples, sanding and applying finish. Today was a perfect day to sit in the garden with a carving tool.
