There's a moment every Frisco family has when they're planning their pool. Someone says "we want salt water" and then someone else asks "wait, what does that actually mean?"

Good question. And one we love answering.
A salt water pool isn't a salty ocean in your backyard. The water feels soft, not briny. What makes it "salt water" is a small piece of equipment called a salt chlorine generator (or salt cell) that turns a tiny amount of dissolved salt into chlorine, right there in your pool, all on its own.

So you still have clean, sanitized water. You just don't have to handle, store, or pour chlorine yourself. The system does it for you, quietly, in the background.
