Another recent project - updating these etched chair pictures. The orange tones didn't work in her newly remodeled space, so the goal was to create a silhouette effect and the amazing texture of the etchings still shows! Also looks great beside the antique glossy black armoire I recently finished, shown here in it's finished space! Have great weekend everyone!

I'm Really behind on posting photos of projects, so I'm starting with one of the most recent and work my way back from there? This piece was a beast, dirty, top heavy, and the goal was to achieve a glossy black finish, which is very challenging when that's not really something you've done before. But eventually I got it! My friend and client LOVES it, and I'm able to move on to the next challenge!

Hope all my IG & fb friends & family doing well! David and I worked on these serving/charcuterie boards off & on the past few months, during other projects. I've been so bad about posting my furniture and cabinet projects this year! Every time I would start to, something else catastrophic happened in the news and posting just about anything seemed trivial to me. But we're still here, counting all the little blessings that have come from sticking close to home as much as possible.

THEN a few weeks ago my Dad, who had not wanted us to come around due to COVID, collapsed and we realized he could no longer care for himself. He can do a few things and he's under hospice care, weekly nurse, CNA, etc. My sister and I are currently with him in 24-36 hour shifts, and we are looking into part-time home health aide for him, and it's very expensive. As I'm sure some of you can relate to.

So if you think you might be interested in these serving trays or know someone who would be, as a gift, etc., the sale of these will be going towards the care of my Dad, and I'll be adding things as I can that will also help us out. So please share if you can. Thanks so much!
