It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our President and Owner, Doug Cartelli, on June 13, 2026.
Doug was the heart and soul of CSS Inc. His vision, integrity, and unwavering dedication helped shape not only our company, but also the lives of the people who worked alongside him. Through his leadership, hard work, and commitment to excellence, Doug built a foundation that will continue to guide us for years to come.
Beyond his role as a leader, Doug was a genuinely caring and generous person. He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need, never hesitating to lend a hand or offer support. He cared deeply about his employees, friends, and family, and always made people feel valued.
While Doug worked incredibly hard, those who knew him best will remember that he also enjoyed taking time to share a meal, tell a story, and make people laugh with his quick wit and sense of humor. Whether in the office, on a job site, or gathered around a table, he had a way of bringing people together and making every conversation memorable.
