Yesterday, Mackenzie celebrated the grand opening of the Crisis Care Center (CCC) in Lynnwood, Washington.
The center's opening marks a significant milestone in advancing community-based behavioral health and crisis response services at a time when communities across the nation are facing unprecedented mental health and substance use challenges.
Designed to provide a welcoming, accessible, and supportive environment, the CCC offers critical crisis stabilization, rehabilitative care, and pathways to recovery for individuals and families in need. The realization of the CCC represents the commitment of community leaders, city government, healthcare providers, and state representatives to invest in essential behavioral health infrastructure and expand access to lifesaving services.
“The growing demand for behavioral health and crisis response services requires environments that are both clinically effective and deeply human-centered,” said Brett Hanson, Mackenzie’s Principal-in-Charge on the project. “By bringing together stakeholders around a shared vision centered on dignity, accessibility, and trauma-informed care, we were able to help create a facility that will have a lasting impact for generations to come.”
Helping bring this vision to life, Sea Mar Community Health Centers will serve as the resident service provider, delivering integrated care and support services to the community through this transformative facility.
Congratulations to the City of Lynnwood, WA - Government, Sea Mar Community Health, and to entire project team on the successful realization of this vital community resource.
