All structural framing is officially 100% complete! Roof is weatherproofed and the exterior is fully sheathed.

Next up, we’ll be framing the interior walls and getting ready for windows and rough ins.

North Omaha Addition Progress 🏗️

Me and the guys got the framing knocked out on this addition. The structure is up, sheathed, weatherproofed, and ready for windows and rough ins.

A lot of work went into getting this one from foundation to this point. Next up, windows, roofing, and mechanical rough ins as we keep moving toward getting everything dried in.

After demo, excavation, and foundation work, it’s always exciting to finally start seeing the new space take shape. First floor walls are going up and we’re making good progress.

North Omaha Addition 🏗️

A look back at the beginning stages of our North Omaha addition project.

We started by tearing down the existing attached garage and excavating for a brand new two story addition. The new space will add a living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom, new interior stair access, and a new dining room within the existing home.

These photos are from a few weeks back when we were getting through excavation and foundation. We’ve made a lot of progress since then, so more progress photos coming soon!

Taylor Street Kitchen Remodel

This Taylor Street kitchen was completely transformed with a full gut renovation and an entirely new layout designed to create a brighter, more open, and functional space.

We removed a load-bearing wall and installed a new structural beam and posts to open the kitchen to the rest of the home. The remodel also included new tile flooring, quartz countertops, painted shaker-style cabinetry, updated lighting, and all new finishes throughout.

The result is a timeless kitchen with clean lines, plenty of natural light, and a layout that's perfect for both everyday living and entertaining.

One of those projects where opening up the space made all the difference.

North Rodney Kitchen Remodel

This kitchen received a complete transformation with a brand-new layout designed to create a brighter, more functional space for everyday living and entertaining.

We removed a structural wall, installed a new post and beam system, and framed in two large windows to bring in significantly more natural light. The remodel also included custom walnut cabinetry, quartz countertops, a full-height backsplash, new oak flooring, and all new lighting and finishes throughout.

The combination of warm walnut cabinetry, clean modern lines, and an open floor plan completely changed the feel of the home while maintaining a timeless Northwest aesthetic.

Northeast Going Street Kitchen Remodel

This project completely transformed the heart of the home. We removed a load-bearing wall, installed a structural beam, and opened up the space to create a bright, functional open-concept kitchen and dining area.

The remodel features custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, a large island for gathering and entertaining, full-height subway tile backsplash wrapping the entire kitchen, and new oak flooring throughout.

The result is a space that feels significantly larger, brighter, and much more connected to the rest of the home while maintaining a timeless design that will look great for years to come.

Commercial office remodel project here in Portland that Tall Firs Construction hired us to help with. This was a fun one where we transformed a pretty plain and outdated commercial space into a warm, custom workspace with a completely different feel and atmosphere.

The project included a custom kitchen, bathroom remodel, updated lighting, flooring, finishes, and extensive custom woodworking throughout the space. All of the woodwork was milled, fabricated, and custom built by us to give the office a one of a kind look and feel that matched the client’s vision.

Projects like this are always rewarding because they completely change how a space functions and feels for the people using it every day.

Clay Basement project here in Southeast Portland. This is one we completed a while back, and we finally got some finished photos to share.

The existing basement was originally a poorly done DIY remodel, so we ended up taking everything back down to the studs and completely rebuilding the space from the ground up.

The new layout included a full bathroom with a custom tile shower and soaking tub, a new laundry area, living room space, and a new bedroom to create a much more functional extension of the home. We also updated insulation, electrical, plumbing, drywall, flooring, lighting, and finishes throughout the basement.

Projects like this are always satisfying because of how dramatic the transformation becomes once everything comes together. Clean, functional, comfortable living space that feels like part of the original home.
