From a narrow galley kitchen to an open, inviting space designed for gathering. ✨
Designed by Holly Burtchael (DA), this renovation transformed the heart of the home with new cabinetry, updated finishes, modern appliances, and a layout that finally matched our clients' vision.
Once demolition began, we uncovered an unexpected challenge. The walls we planned to remove were load-bearing, and the ceiling joists changed direction. Rather than compromising the design, our team worked with engineers to reframe the ceiling with recessed beams and posts, making it possible to achieve the open-concept kitchen our clients had envisioned from the start.
Projects like these are a great reminder that the best renovations aren't just about beautiful finishes. They're about the people behind them. A huge shoutout to the incredible team that made this transformation possible:
