There are some homes where ordinary gutters simply wouldn’t do.
For this beautiful 1910 historic home, we installed a complete solid copper gutter system designed to complement the character, craftsmanship, and architecture that have already stood for more than a century.
The home received custom 6K copper gutters, paired with elegant 3-inch round copper downspouts and solid copper gutter guards—creating a system where every detail, from top to bottom, is genuine copper. The result is a gutter system that feels less like an addition to the home and more like something that was always meant to be there.
Copper is one of those rare materials that becomes more beautiful with time. The bright, polished finish seen today will gradually deepen into rich bronze and brown tones before developing the distinctive natural patina copper is known for. On a home built in 1910, that aging process is especially fitting—the gutter system will continue to develop its own character right alongside the house.
Projects like this are why we love working on historic and architecturally significant homes. It takes careful planning, attention to detail, and respect for the original architecture to install a modern drainage system without taking away from what makes an older home special.
Solid copper. Traditional craftsmanship. Built for the next century.
