Fun fact Friday!

We’ve recently broken into the commercial remodel world! The crew at Builders First Source has been patiently waiting since last spring, but we are excited to give them a couple new ADA compliant bathrooms!

Wooden doors in our climate can be very temperamental and it’s extremely important that we make sure we put the right finish on them.

When client had a failing door after just 5 years, we knew we’d come up with a solution. So after experimenting with different stains & new clear coats we found a solution to be proud of.

Confident to say that this new mahogany door will last a lifetime.

There’s a lot more than a true refinish than just putting some paint on some cabinets. There’s sanding, and masking, and coating, and filling, and sanding, and coating and more sanding and more filling and more coating. That’s what it takes to breathe another lifespan into some old cabinets, and they come out beautifully every single time.

Tonight we had the opportunity to sit down with the other builders who participated in this year’s Parade of Homes and celebrate the hard work, creativity, and craftsmanship that went into each of the homes.

We’re incredibly honored to have received Best Workmanship and Best Functional Kitchen in our category. These awards mean the world because they recognize the attention to detail and thought that our entire team puts into every project.

A huge thank you to everyone who came through our home, supported 2911 Customs, shared our work, and continues to put your trust in us. We’re truly humbled by the support we receive from our local community.

We’re grateful to continue building, remodeling, and serving Pocatello and the surrounding areas. Thank you for allowing us to do what we love. ❤️

Thank you, Pocatello!

Some projects are more than just a remodel — they’re an opportunity to completely transform the way a home feels.

This project brought together custom exterior work, fresh finishes, bold details, and a whole lot of 2911 Customs craftsmanship.

From the updated exterior to the custom timber work and covered parking area, this home got a serious facelift while keeping its original character.

Different. Detailed. Built with purpose.

That’s what we do at 2911 Customs.

Another before and after. This is a whole home of windows we retrofitted. Heartland Siding, then came back wrapped. All of our windows did new soffit and facia and new vertical siding in our Gables for a cool and energy efficient transformation on this home.

Design started on this project in Feb of 2025. Work commenced in late Oct of 2025 and we ended up getting pulled away for quite some time. Super thankful to the client and their patience on this one! She’s officially wrapped as of last night!

We used Keim Paint and lime wish for the brick to allow it to remain breathable. Somsen Lumber provided our rough cut, and as always big thanks to Rugged Ridge Fabrication for helping with the railings.
