This past week has been a little rough. One of those weeks where things just seem to keep spiraling but everyone stuck with it. We had overnight deliveries, returns, more deliveries, welding, rubber and more rubber….but we are here. 6 am run time and hopefully as the sun rises so does a refresh. It’s tough work and sometimes it’s tougher mentally rather than physically but lately it’s been both. We showed up, the machine is back and we are working and we are thankful. Let’s grind!

Ryan did a great job managing this jobsite and seeing it to completion. Grapple trucks come in handy for the smaller tree removal jobs. It’s an efficient and cost effective way to haul out when the job doesn’t need large equipment or the grinder. We hauled this offsite and processed the material into mulch suitable for landscaping and erosion control.

The trees that we cut down are ground into mulch and reused. As the owner of Handshake Siteworks and an avid outdoorswoman giving back what we take is important to me and to the environment. We have joined the National Forest Federation’s (NFF) Sappling Program to plant trees from donations received. You can read more about it at https://www.nationalforests.org. Some things are necessary but giving back what you take is imperative to the balance. We will always do our part.
