Return to recheck this removal
In parkland

There's no bees left lingering in space
Find that odd
As big as it was
I knew queen was removed monday
BUT ...
not likely to have zero bees lingering

So I began to look around
Wondering of they'd flew somewhere nearby

Walked around the cul-de-sac and sure enough
2 houses over
I see a tiny swarm of bees clinging to a branch
About 8 feet up

No doubt remnants of the removal
As up in the space
With low #
And no combs
I could feel the
a/c pumping out the hole
Likely making it inhospitable for them

I HAPPILY vacuumed the remnants bees up
NO I didn't charge the neighbor
But reflected upon a story I recently heard from another beekeeper who said
That wasn't what I was called there for...and proceeded to offer a price for removal
Of a very similar incident
I was to say the least

This was a first!!!!
The shed was EMPTY

Made things sooooo much easier
And was a contributing factor in cost as well

Now off to get them settled at the apiary

Just another day in paradise
🐝🙃
Inside a huge shed
No ac
No windows

But tell ME again how hot YOU are ....

I even got a show
The odd neighbor who literally sat blowing the leaves BACK as the neighnors landscapers cut the neighbors yard

Someone should tell him leaves turn into DIRT
To feed his plants and grass
But something tells me
He doesn't have the capacity to HEAR anything

It's easy to see where the bees are with the right tools

Sheds secrets

City said they'd contract for someone to come ..but who and when was a mystery.
So the Neighbors said NO THANK YOU
and collectively paid the fair pricced invoice for live relocation
its me they called

I count my week starting MONDAYS
