Today is about celebrating the people who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, put in the long hours, and take pride in a hard day’s work.

Concrete work isn’t always easy; it’s early mornings, hot days, heavy lifting, dirty boots, sore muscles, and plenty of sweat. But there’s something pretty rewarding about stepping back at the end of the day and seeing what your own two hands built.

We’re incredibly grateful for every customer who has trusted our small business with their home, property, or project. Every driveway, patio, sidewalk, barn floor, and slab helps us continue building something of our own while providing for the people who mean the most to us.

Here’s to the hardworking men and women in every trade and profession who keep our communities moving forward.

Some jobs look simple in the finished photo… but this one was anything but.

This backyard transformation was a GRUELING, hands-on job from start to finish, and we mean that literally.

🤙🏼The existing deck was torn out completely by hand.
🤙🏼The old concrete pad was saw-cut into manageable squares, then every piece was removed by hand.
🤙🏼The entire area was graded and prepped without the use of a machine.
🤙🏼Reinforcement was installed, forms were set, and everything was prepared for the new pour.
🤙🏼The end result: a brand-new concrete slab with a checkerboard finishand a much cleaner, more usable outdoor space.

There was a whole lot of sweat and muscle between that first photo and the last one. However, seeing a transformation like this makes the hard ones worth it!

Nothing means more to a small business than a customer calling you back for another project!

Last year, we had the opportunity to pour a lean-to pad for this customer. This year, he reached back out to Wheeler’s Concrete Specialties to keep the concrete work going!

This time around, we completed his pole barn floor along with a connecting sidewalk between the two barns. From prep and reinforcement to the finished product, we’re proud of how this one came together!

Repeat customers are one of the biggest compliments we can receive. Knowing someone was happy enough with our work to trust us with another project means a lot to us. Thank you for choosing Wheeler’s Concrete again!
