TRASH UPDATE 🚨

Based on recent reports, particularly regarding the Lebanon Solid Waste and Recycling Facility in New Hampshire, significant rate increases for trash disposal are taking effect in early 2026, impacting both commercial haulers and local residents. You will notice a increase on your monthly billing starting February 1st 2026

Here are the key details regarding the rate increases and why we have to charge more:

🚨 Effective Date: While some surcharges begin January 1, 2026, many specific fee increases for commercial, residential, are set for February 1, 2026.

🚨 Cause for increase:

The increases are driven by higher landfill disposal rates, including a new state-mandated $3.50 per ton surcharge on all solid waste, as well as the need for increased revenue to cover operational costs, expansions, and equipment replacements, gas, milage, insurance, payroll.....

🚨 Commercial Impact: Commercial trash haulers face a substantial increase, with rates rising to $155 per ton (up from $120.75) as of Jan 1, 2026. These costs are generally passed on to customers in the Upper Valley. :(

We are ready to serve all our clients with the incoming storm ❄️ we have detailed some things below

🚨 Key Expectations During a Storm:

• No Specific Time Route: Routes are dynamic, not fixed, and based on when the snow begins to fall and accumulate.

• Trigger Depths: Plowing typically starts after a certain amount of accumulation 1.5 inch for commercial, 2-3 inches for residential

🚨 Best Practices for our Clients:

• Clear the Area: Remove vehicles from the street and keep trash cans off the curb, as they may be blocked by snow or damaged.

• Be Patient: During high-intensity storms, I promise our crew is doing their best to manage immense amounts of snow and cannot guarantee specific, immediate service times. We are human to and need to fuel ourselves

❄️❄️ Now taking on more plowing contracts!

We offer:

👉Modified All Inclusive

❄️ Description: This plan is ideal for the commercial or property owner who has a little more flexibility in their budget. You will get consistent monthly billing for unlimited parking lot plowing (2” trigger), walkway shoveling, and one salt application per snow event. Additional salt applications and/or any salt applications needed outside of a plowable event (freezing rain or melting and refreezing for example) will be billed separately when those services are provided. This allows for potential savings for the client during a mild winter requiring less salt. The only additional charges would be for removal of snow piles when needed. That service will only be provided upon approval of our recommendation.

👉Contract Type: Seasonal/ Returning customers

Billing: Monthly on core service. After-storm

Per Storm

❄️ Description: Snowplowing on a per-storm basis (2” trigger). All services are à la carte on this plan, but as always will be provided at B.M.L Property Maintenances discretion.

Contract Type: Per Storm (for the entire season)

Billing: After storm on all services

👉Last but not least Per Push

❄️ Description: Snowplowing on a per-push basis (2” trigger). All services are à la carte on this plan, but as always will be provided at B.M.L Property Maintenance discretion.
