*Field Operations Manager, MFMC
Full-time | Reports to Operations Leadership | $35,000 to $45,000 base, plus commission
Own the job site. Protect the budget. Build the process as you go.
We’re building something at MFMC that hasn’t fully existed here before: a Field Operations Manager who owns site supervision and quality control on every active project. You won’t be stepping into someone else’s playbook. You’ll be writing it. You’ll work directly with the owners, with real say over budget, subcontractors, and how each day on site actually goes.

-What success looks like in your first year
By the end of year one, we’ll know this is working if you:
• Own daily site visits across every active project. Prioritize off-track and complex jobs first, and give us a clear Green, Yellow, or Red status on each one in a quick daily check-in.
• Run real quality control. Catch problems with measurements, materials, sequencing, or cleanliness before they turn into expensive rework or an unhappy client.
• Manage project budgets. Stay inside materials and labor budgets, negotiate subcontractor pricing within the number the office sets, and tell us right away if something’s trending off, not after the fact.
• Hold subcontractors accountable. Direct crews milestone to milestone, keep every project moving every day, and solve problems in the field instead of kicking them up to us.
• Earn more decision-making authority. The more your judgment proves out in the first 90 days, the more we’ll hand you.
-What a normal day looks like
You’ll own site supervision and quality control on our residential and commercial projects, start to finish. Here’s roughly how a day breaks down:
Before you’re on the road
You already talked to your subs the evening before, so you know exactly which sites need you first. Off-track jobs and anything complex go ahead of jobs that are running fine. Monday and Friday, you’re checking in on every active project no matter what.
At every site
You’re running the same checks every time: is the crew there and working, does the work match the plan, is the site clean, do the measurements and materials match spec, and is there real progress since your last visit. You stage materials in batches tied to each milestone instead of dropping a full load on day one, and you know the full budget for every job you’re standing on, not just what you’re cleared to spend that day.
When something’s off
A scope mismatch, a budget that’s drifting, a crew that didn’t show, or a real quality problem all get a call to Adam or Azza the same day, not folded into an end-of-day summary. Anything smaller, like a sub needing another can of paint, you just handle yourself.
At the end of the day
You give a quick, one-line status on every project you touched: green, yellow, or red. Then you lock in tomorrow’s plan before you leave your last site.
-Who we’re looking for
Maybe you’ve run your own business before. Maybe you’ve operated independently on job sites and already know what it takes to own outcomes without someone standing over you. Either way, you know what a bathroom remodel, a framing sequence, or a commercial buildout should look like at every stage. You’re comfortable talking about money and holding subs to a number. You don’t need to be told the same thing twice, and you’re the kind of person who catches the detail nobody else does.

We reward ownership, not just activity. If you catch a $10,000 problem before it happens instead of after, if you tell us what’s going on instead of waiting to be asked, and if you treat a clean, organized site as part of doing the job right, you’ll do great here. We’re watching whether jobs move forward every day and whether we can trust your status report without double-checking it ourselves.
-Compensation and benefits
Base salary of $35,000 to $45,000, plus a commission structure tied to the projects you run. The bigger and more complex the job, the bigger your cut, so your earning potential grows right along with what you’re managing. We’re ready to invest in the right person, and final numbers can flex based on experience.
-Physical requirements
This is a hands-on role. You’ll be on your feet for long stretches, driving between job sites throughout the day, and lifting and carrying construction materials (up to 50 lbs). We’re happy to discuss reasonable accommodations with any qualified candidate.
