Yesturday wrapped up install of new Generac 14kw with 100 amp transfer switch.
To be honest, the new Generac model generation is a big improvement in my opinion. For those of you that know, the previous generation had a very small space to try and route and terminate the control wiring on the generator. Now they have a removable panel on top and have a longer flatter much more easy to access place to terminate those wires.

The slanted roof cover is also a very nice touch to help with water and snow to shed off the machine towards the front rather than back towards the gas line connection and pipe connection for the cable.

This generator should serve this customer for years to come! Let us know if your thinking of a hands free backup power solution for your home or business. Now is the time to do it, and you certainly will be glad you did when it’s -15 blowing 40 outside and your building is warm and functioning as if you never lost power.

Little before and after on this quick service call. Exterior receptacles at this store were broken and not covered. Not to mention not weather resistant rated!

Got them replaced with WR receptacles and new in use covers and verified the circuit was properly gfci protected and tested to make sure they tripped correctly.

Not a big repair but a necessary one to employee safety. If your business location or chain needs some electrical attention, give us a call. Always more than happy to find a solution and get it taken care of.

Just wanted to give out a huge thanks for the Maine Cheese Guild for having us set up temp power to vendors and food trucks that needed it. Weather was not the greatest but that didn’t seem to stop everyone from coming out and enjoying some great cheese and food and great music.

I know it was an absolute blast meeting new people and getting to purchase some wicked good cheese and drinks while supporting local farmers.

Thanks again to the The Maine Cheese Festival, Balfour Farm, and the many other people we got to meet and help out!

Productive day today taking care of this customer getting circuit fed into new shed. Installed a gfci receptacle on the left and fed over to the other receptacle.

Some photos from a recent project that was just wrapped up. Quite the transformation from what used to be a traditional basement to now a fully functional living space. Contractor did a wonderful job with the build.

For the electrical we ran a new feed to subpanel into utility room. From there did standard rough in for living space. All brand new razor 6” lighting, countertop receptacles, appliance hookups, heat pump, fire alarm system, and even some electric radiant floor heat that has a smart thermostat to connect to your phone.

Very proud to have been a part of this project, the customer will be very pleased with the results of this job!

Installed 50 amp generator transfer switch for the customer. Its a good idea to start getting backup power solutions in order before the winter season with outages becoming much more of a “normal”. Let us know if your thinking of getting setup. There are lots of options for all budgets depending on what your looking for.
