Another garage floor transformed by South Hills Concrete. This customer hired their painters to do their floor. They acid washed it and used a big box diy kit. Needless to say, it failed after 6 months. She called us and I tried to help her explain the process to the guys as they were trying to redo it. They ground off half the coating, cause they had to return the rented grinder, and acid washed again introducing more moisture to the floor that caused the first failure. She hired us and we went in the next week and fixed the problem. Now she not only has a beautiful floor done right, she has peace of mind knowing it’s warrantied and insured by Binary Flooring Solutions and their insurance company for 10 years. Another “Keystone” custom carved overlay completed on this leaky and failing nature stone porch. Lots of prep work but this turned out awesome. SureCrete Products elastoshield to waterproof, surespray base and texture coat then a bunch of eco stain for color. Finished it off with some dk 400wb high wear urethane. Prep work underway for another SureCrete Products resist sand overlay. Proper prep and grinding is the key to all of these overlay systems.

And as a side note, stop painting your concrete!! It doesn’t last outside so people re coat it for a couple years. Then when they decide they want a permanent system, it takes an extra day or 2 to grind off all the old paint costing the homeowner more money. Do it right once and be done with it!!
