Lets talk about utilizing some old useless space back into what it was first intended for! That tree had owned the side entrance for too long. So we opened that area up to a new Keystone Compac III retaining wall and blending beautifully with the river colored Unilock- Boulevard paver. The Bauer Company Inc.

Here's the French Drain we excavated and installed in Upper St. Clair, Pa. earlier this Spring! Water run off from the upper hillside and construction, the back lawn would take days to drain and settle after a big storm.
Underground just a few inches was a layers shale rock, preventing the water to settle anywhere but the above surface. After grading the area, adding a few inches of topsoil and sloping the new lawn. Away from the foundation to the drain, re-directing the water to a exit pipe to the front lawn.

Drainage issues?? A French drain and regrading can fix that. This backyard took days to dry up. Now all the water flows to the slope of the front lawn.
