Mosites is proud to partner with NorthSideWorks! and the Allegheny YMCA for Pathways in Construction, a free career exploration event on Friday, October 30.

Hosted at our Allegheny YMCA renovation project, attendees can take a behind-the-scenes tour, network with local employers, learn about training programs, and explore the many career paths available in the construction industry.

Members of the Mosites team will participate in the panel discussion, sharing their experiences and offering insight into opportunities across the construction industry.

We’re looking forward to welcoming the community to the project and helping connect individuals with resources and opportunities to build their future in construction!

We're proud to celebrate an exciting milestone for Carnegie Mellon University.

The Robotics Innovation Center at Hazelwood Green has achieved LEED Platinum certification, the highest level of recognition for sustainable building design and construction.

Built on a former brownfield site, the facility reflects a shared commitment to innovation, sustainability, and creating spaces that will serve future generations. We are especially honored that this is Carnegie Mellon University's first LEED Platinum-certified building, marking an important milestone for the university and the Hazelwood Green development.

Congratulations to Carnegie Mellon University, our design and construction partners, and everyone whose hard work and collaboration made this achievement possible. We are grateful to have been part of a project that will have a lasting impact on our region.

Another exciting milestone in Pittsburgh’s Uptown neighborhood!

The Mosites team was proud to join our project partners this week to celebrate the ribbon-cutting for Uptown Flats, marking another important step in the transformation of the 1400 block of Fifth Avenue.

This milestone is especially meaningful to our team because it continues a partnership and a vision that began several years ago. Mosites first joined Bethlehem Haven, Pittsburgh Mercy, and ACTION-Housing on the renovation of Bethlehem Haven’s 1410 Fifth Avenue facility, the first phase of a larger effort to revitalize this block in Pittsburgh’s Uptown neighborhood. Completed in 2024, the project modernized the existing facility while supporting Bethlehem Haven’s mission and the women they serve.

With the completion of Uptown Flats, we’re proud to have worked alongside these partners once again as that vision continues to take shape. The project replaced neighboring blighted properties with 34 new affordable, supportive housing units and includes space for supportive services, continuing the commitment to providing not just housing, but resources that help residents achieve greater stability and self-sufficiency.

We’re grateful for our continued partnership with ACTION-Housing, Bethlehem Haven, and Pittsburgh Mercy, and proud to have played a role in the transformation of this block from the renovation of an existing facility to the creation of new housing and new opportunities for the people who will call Uptown Flats home.

We always enjoy spending time with our friends at Chatham University!

Yesterday, members of the Mosites team had the opportunity to participate in the Seventh Annual Chatham Athletics Golf Outing at Fox Chapel Golf Club. It was a great day on the course supporting Chatham Athletics and the nearly 500 student-athletes who represent the University.

We’re grateful for our longstanding relationship with Chatham and proud to continue supporting a University and community that has been such an important partner to Mosites over the years.

Thank you to Chatham Athletics for another great event. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Our team has enjoyed getting out on the course recently for several great golf outings supporting the Washington City Mission, Waynesburg University, and the ACE Mentor Program of Western PA.

We had a great time at each event, connecting with friends, colleagues, and community partners while supporting organizations doing important work in our region.

Congratulations to all of the winners, and thank you to everyone who helped make these outings such a success!
