Welcome to Laborers Local 373 located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We are a labor union that represents workers in all phases of construction. Our jurisdiction covers Allegheny County and we are affiliated with the Laborers District Council of Western Pennsylvania, a subsidiary of the Laborers International Union of North America. We also are affiliated with the local, state, and national Buildin

g Trades as well as the local, state, and national AFL-CIO organization. We tend other building tradesman on large commercial projects, both public and private, as well as city, county, and private housing projects. Duties may include concrete work, forklift driving, etc. Our laborers are well-trained in the environmental field as well, servicing our asbestos removal, lead remediation, and hazardous waste contractors. Local 373 members were proud to lend a hand at Skookum Baseball Field in Mt. Washington. It was a great day spent prepping the field and getting everything ready for the kids as they gear up for the upcoming season. Looking forward to seeing the community come together out there soon!

Earlier today at the Night of Excellence ceremony, Laborers Local 373 Business Manager Jason Markovich had the distinct honor of introducing 19-year member Eric Shedlock as the 2025 Labor Champion Award recipient, presented by the Master Builders’ Association of Western Pennsylvania.

Eric was recognized for his outstanding work as a foreman for Mascaro Construction Company on the CMU Health, Wellness and Athletics Center project at Carnegie Mellon University.

Congratulations, Eric, on this well-deserved honor.
