Thrilled to see Taste of Milan's new space come together. This has to be the fanciest catering kitchen in all of Pittsburgh - custom powder coated steel casework with backlit granite countertops on a backdrop of polished concrete floors and stainless steel! And that’s just the kitchen…wait until you tase the food :) Full credit to ATK Design Studio and Claitman Engineering for bringing this all together.

Very excited to share these “After” photos from a major bathroom renovation project we recently completed. This was originally a single, larger bathroom with a stacked washer/dryer. We divided the space into two full baths and created a new first floor laundry closet. This created a new primary bed/bath en suite, while opening up a lot of flexibility for this home!

Spent the last few weeks putting this historic 1914 church into a 3D model (a fun mix of architecture and pipe organ). Sadly, this church had to sell its building, so its future is up in the air. We hope these existing drawings will allow a new owner to revitalize the property for the next 110 years. By the way, the building is for sale with McCormick Real Estate & Property Management.

We passed by one of our recently completed commercial tenant projects and stopped in to take a few photos. “The Laundry Bin” is definitely cooler than your average laundromat! This project featured a lot of electrical and plumbing coordination to integrate some very fancy washers and dryers by Huebsch and Alliance Laundry Systems LLC

Very pleased to see this project wrapping up at the Churchill Borough Building with two new accessible restrooms off the council chambers and a new locker room for female police officers! We started this process with a comprehensive feasibility study of the building, and were able to assist the Borough in securing grant funding to complete these improvements. Great work from this job is an excellent example of how a collaborative Owner-Architect-Contractor team can execute a project successfully!

Happy to share this renovation project in Highland Park! The right half of this attached residence was completely gutted and reworked. Major credit due to my Client’s interior design skills!

Another major residential transformation! The architect’s role in a project doesn’t end with a set of drawings. Construction Administration is the phase where we regularly observe construction to make sure that the plans are being followed by your contractor and help with issues that arise during construction. A collaborative approach between the Architect, Owner, and Contractor ensures you get the end result you’ve been dreaming of since the design phase!

Very happy to be invited to the “grand opening” of one of our recently completed home addition projects. On a rainy day, we were all especially glad for the covered outdoor patio space! This project consisted of a first floor bed/bath suite, covered patio, deck, and a whole lot of retaining walls.
