Check out this basement renovation project that we finished up last week! This project included renovating a bathroom, bedroom, laundry room, and hallway in the homes basement.

We installed an Armstrong Kanopi plank suspended ceiling and low profile led flush mount lights throughout the spaces. Vinyl “peel & stick” tiles were laid onto the concrete floor in both the bathroom and laundry room. These tiles are a perfect lower cost flooring option that provides a highly durable surface with an excellent finished look. In the bathroom, we installed a new shower and vanity with a custom vanity light fixture that incorporated the old fixtures. Additionally we added some open shelf storage next to the toilet to make better use of the privacy divider wall.

This was a quick kitchen update in a PSU student housing apartment. A few simple changes made a noticeable difference in the overall look!

For this project, I installed new countertops, removed the dated bread garage and scalloped valance, and installed a new modern light fixture.

March 2026 officially marks 2 years in business and the start of year 3 for Built By Burke!

Year 2 brought a variety of projects and opportunities to work with some great local people! These photos are of a handful of the projects completed in year 2.
