Can’t exactly put a number on this but I can pretty much guarantee what it costs for me to come out to inspect and clean it is a fraction of the cost of a system running in these conditions. Especially what repair parts cost and what it costs for ppl with COPD. I have elderly customers that have COPD. If their hvac systems were to ever get this bad they wouldn’t be able to breath at all. So why wait? If you seen the things I’ve seen growing inside most hvac systems you would be shocked. Showed the homeowner. Not only did we rip that unit out to replace but I am running a special currently for a free ionizer air cleaner with purchase of hvac replacement so he was able to get a $300 air cleaner at no extra cost. 864-593-5338. Forgot to get good before photos but this system was 15 yrs old. Compressor and fan motor died. Went back with about the smartest thing in HVAC. A 20 Seer inverter heatpump. Ultra money saver and it is twice as strong as a regular system. 60% more efficient than a brand new 14 seer. If you have a 12 year old system you are spending hundreds each month on heating and cooling for no reason. The system will eventually quit and the entire time you’re spending $150-200 more on power. Thousands over the year with the worries of if it’s gonna make it through the summer. Say it does but then dies next summer. Prices have gone up drastically on equipment bc major government regulations are coming into effect by end of year andddd you’ve spent an additional 150-200 per month on power. I can put these units in for way too good of a deal for them to stay these prices for long. 10 year part coverage. By the time this system quits it will have saved every penny back on power. 3.5 ton Coleman gaspack. Customer played jt smart and bought the 10 year labor package plan along with extended part warranties. For the next decade they will not have to spend a penny unless for routine maintenance. Shipping, labor, warranty fees, and refrigerant is covered under this plan. The only other companies that can offer these products are close to 75% higher price tag than I am. Their overhead cost is higher so they have to charge substantially higher prices for the same equipment. In this economy paying thousands of dollars more for the same product just doesn’t make sense. A system I installed few months back. 30k 19 seer inverter heatpump. Top of the top. This system automatically adjusts its capacity to what it needs in that moment. On top of the higher efficiencies it can heat to -15F and cool up to 115F. Traditional heatpumps can heat to 30F before it needs expensive high costly heat strips and cools to 90-95 before it struggles and pulls high power to keep house cool. Rags to riches. Gaspack Was way undersized along with his ductwork. Increased tonnage of system and redesigned and upsized his ductwork. His ductwork was designed originally wrong. Caused majority of his conditioned air to go through a handful of air vents and starved the rest of the house of air. Hot and cold spots everywhere and not comfortable for the home owner. After I finished all of the air vents in every section of home is getting exactly how much air it needs for that section allowing house to be one consistent temp and shortened it’s run time since there isn’t anymore unconditioned hot spots throughout the home.
