Meet Edgar Lopez, Chair of Hispanos, our Hispanic Employee Resource Group, and Manager of Inside Sales at our Scottsdale, AZ Support Center.

Edgar joined Hispanos as a member and stepped up to lead it, balancing a full-time role running branch operations with building community for colleagues across WillScot.

Recently, Edgar led the group's Hispanic Heritage Month internal employee webinar, which focused on coming together to learn about and celebrate the cultures, traditions and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. Throughout the webinar, attendees learned about the significance of Hispanic Heritage Month, explored the history and cultural impact of Hispanic and Latino communities, and gained a deeper understanding of why this observance is meaningful to both Hispanos and the diverse employee population across WillScot.
Participants also enjoyed interactive trivia, tested their knowledge of Hispanic culture and history and were treated to a special video message from Broadway star Mandy Gonzalez.

She did it! Michelle, one of our HR Business Partners, crossed the finish line at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon and officially completed her first marathon!

After months of training, race day delivered - and she was able to bring home that medal to her kids. We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate her accomplishment!

In her words: “I hope it serves as a reminder that determination, resilience and believing in yourself can take you farther than you ever imagined.”

It's race day at the Chicago Marathon!

Crews have spent days getting ready for this morning. The miles don't happen by accident. Now it's the runners' turn.

We're wishing good luck to everyone running today's Bank of America Chicago Marathon, and to the volunteers and fans cheering them on.

This Sunday, WillScot will be supporting the Bank of America , and we'll be especially cheering for one participant: one of our HR Business Partners, Michelle Aponte, who is running her first marathon.

After 10+ years of coaching youth soccer, she’s living out the same lesson she always taught her players: give your best, push through challenges and never let self-doubt stand in the way.

Michelle will be running alongside a close friend, and they’ve promised to push each other every step of the way and cross the finish line together. Her kids will be cheering her on from their own soccer games that day - and she can’t wait to come home and show them the medal.

The real race begins long before drivers hit the track. From behind the scenes, teams have worked tirelessly to plan, build, and execute the first-ever NTT INDYCAR SERIES race in Washington, D.C, The Freedom 250 Grand Prix, that starts this weekend.

With over 6,400 square feet of WillScot temporary office and storage space, onsite teams can focus on what matters. This infrastructure provides the space needed to coordinate seamless event operations, production, broadcasting, and other critical logistics, without interruption.
