Normally, I don’t like to post anything unfinished, however, I feel as though a framed wall for a 3 window fireplace deserves a spot.
A framing nightmare, nothing square, and a botched demo job, Handyman Rescue was called on for a rescue!!
All the framing was tore down, and all new studs were placed, and the entire framing job was one cohesive piece instead of frankensteined together. Everything was plumb, level and square, not to mention, more acceptable for drywall application. The attic space was closed up behind the fireplace not only for fire blocking, but also for energy efficiency and all penetrations sealed with the appropriate fire blocking foam.
The final drywall was finished by an expert drywalling company to include texturing so that way this client was thrilled with the end result.
Couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome!!
