Just in a days work. A customer called me with a leak problem that for some reason no one was able to find. It turns out that the sanitary tee had a hole in it and needed to be replaced. Good evening. Today's job was to change a, "bungalow bend". This is a 16"x16" blind ideal bend. I had to employ some, "old school", skill sets. I don't think lead and oakum joint making is tought in school any more. I have been making lead and oakum joints since high school, it was and still is one of my pet projects. Good morning. As soon as you think you have this plumbing thing all figured out wam you run it to something like this. Is it a problem? Not really. The theory is water in water out. Figure out what the problem is and you can then easily come up with a solution. The problem is the solution. I came up with this saying years ago when I was training some students in the art of the plumb. The problem is the solution, is about as simple as it can get. Good morning. Circulators are the heart of a hydronic heating system. From time to time they go bad, and when they do you'll need a qualified heart surgeon to do a transplant. Of course I'm making it more than it is, but the idea is that you should have a qualified person to do the job. The reason is, if you want to save money get it done right the first time not the fourth or fifth time. Maybe after the fourth or fifth time you'll still need to get a qualified person to get the job done, and spend three times the money and lots of time wasted. Give me a call and have a great day.
