One thing that really bothers me in this industry…

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone out to a client’s house for a wildlife issue, only to hear:
“Another company was already here.”

Then I get up on the roof and find a one-way door left on the house.

That alone is bad enough… but what’s worse is when I look behind the one-way door and there’s NO actual point of entry behind it.

No hole.
No active access point.
Nothing.

That means somebody charged that homeowner good money to install a device over a problem that didn’t even exist.

That’s not wildlife control.
That’s not exclusion work.
That’s stealing.

Listen — not every inspection is easy. Sometimes the entry point is difficult to locate. Sometimes you genuinely can’t figure it out in that moment. That’s part of the job.

But if you don’t know… be honest.

Tell the client.
Explain the situation.
Recommend another opinion if needed.

Don’t make something up just to make a few bucks.

Integrity matters in this business. Homeowners trust us to solve problems the RIGHT way — not to scare them or sell them things they don’t need.

The wildlife control industry is filled with a lot of great people… but stuff like this hurts all of us.
