Well, this one slipped through the cracks for posting!

This was a redeck we did in Haslett for our customer. We added a little bit of framing for a the solid clad skirt and built a fresh set of deep treaded stairs for the customer.

Trex Golden Hour decking and Westbury Tuscany in bronze for the railings!

This 400ish sq ft deck is finally wrapped up in Okemos, passing all inspections! 🙂

All new framing, with horizontal surfaces coated with the FastenMaster deck coating.

Trex Cinnamon Cove body with Toasted Sand contrasts and fascia, then a solid Cinnamon Cove horizontal clad skirt installed for the customer.

We installed integral privacy walls on each end of this deck for the customer, covering both sides with Cinnamon Cove Trex and then tied in our Westbury Tuscany rail in bronze directly to the walls.

A nice deep treaded staircase that’s is six feet wide really set off the look of this new build.

This 150ish sq ft of fresh build is ready for this customer to enjoy views of the golf course.

Free standing with fresh pressure treated framing, horizontal wood surfaces coated with FastenMaster Deck Coating and then we installed the Trex Honey Grove using the new FastenMaster Zip Clip system with their Gapper Clamps.

Crowned with Westbury Tuscany C10 railing in black fine texture and a self closing gate for the house pup.

We skirted this one with traditional lattice in black vinyl and stained all the visible lattice framing black.

We’ve got this 150sq ft’ish project started and I wanted to share our experience with the new FastenMaster ZipClip system.

We’ve been using the clips for a few weeks and like them, but today was the first chance we had to use the new gapping system as well.

Installing eight boards at a time, with the clamping system worked well and the guys felt like it moved quickly for them. There was definitely less stress with any potential curve in the boards, as the clamps pull them all in line.

As usual, we use color matched screws, deck coating and HeadLock fasteners from them as well!

Thanks to for showing us the system and being a great rep for us.

This one should be wrapped up next week!

Wrapped up this porch update in Oakley.

We removed the existing post skirt and beam wrap metal from the previous owner. Then we installed new post wraps in frosted Buckskin, Westbury Fine Texture Brown railings, Trex Toasted Sand steps and beam wrap!

Well here it is!

320ish sq ft of Cinnamon Cove Trex decking, on top of freshly Deck Coated 12” OC pressure treated framing, sitting atop a Owen’s Corning Composite substructure.

Just in time for the customer to have an open house for their high school graduate!

About 320 sq ft of deck in the making! This ground level deck is sub framed with Owens Corning composite, FastenMaster Headlock bolts in the carrier beams and ThruLocks at the notched posts.

We framed the superstructure with pressure treated lumber and then coated the top surfaces with FastenMaster Deck Coating.

Foundation inspection passed, framing inspection next week and then we’ll lay the Trex surface!
