Then there was another!

Over 400sq ft, multiple lighted entry points and a 16x14 gazebo with ceiling fan!

We used part of the existing framing and altered the foot print slightly to what the customer wanted, to retain 90% of their landscaping.

All framing was coated with the FastenMaster Deck coating, Trex Toasted Sand body with Trex Lava Rock fascia and skirt/cladding.

Westbury Tuscany Black Aluminum railing used in conjunction with the Backyard Discovery Lancaster Gazebo. Then we installed a damp location fan and LED stair lights.

We’re pretty excited to present this one to the customer and we think it turned out amazing!

Just a sneak peek of our current project!

That’s a wrap, minus two short stair rails, for this 400+ sqft new build deck.

We kept the same basic footprint as the original, just made it wider. We framed this deck and then coated the joists with FastenMaster Deck Coating, topped with Trex Lineage in Rainer color (to match the existing lower deck) and Trex Signature aluminum railing.

Three sets of stairs, and one angle step for this build…that’s 26 treads on one build. :) We used FastenMaster Coretex system in the trim and picture framing, ZipClips in the field and then color matched screws in the fascia.

The customer plans to refurbish the under deck platforms for storage.

We completed this project in a few different stages, still a couple things to close out.

The basement was new construction ready and we did some framing improvements, plumbing stubs, drywall installation, then doors, crown and trims.

The ceiling was painted by a trade partner with the a drop spray system that turned out amazing.

Hardwood cove crown, craftsman style trims and double doors made the project fun! Plus, being inside last week was a welcome break as well.

A replacement door and the correct color hinges are on the way and another trade partner did a s**c and span cleaning after the pictures we snapped. LOL

It was our honor to bring this family heirloom dinner bell back to life and use for one of our great friends!

His grandmother used to ring the bell for meals, now he can do the same in his own yard, for his family!

One of the great things about this project, another great customer made the sleeve for the top of the post for us!

Giving back is an amazing feeling!

We completed this redeck in Okemos today, being honest…the heat slowed us a little bit, and a power outage didn’t help. 🙂

This one used existing framing, with us adding the needed blocking for our picture framing and some lateral blocking. Then we coated the top surfaces of the joists with FastenMaster Deck Coating to preserve those surfaces as long as possible.

This deck is topped with Trex Enhance Saddle and trimmed with Tide Pool. An interesting combination for certain, but we think it turned out amazing.

The benches were rebuilt from scratch with the same layout as the owner had originally designed 25+ years ago. We used 4” Westbury Aluminum posts, with heavy blocking underneath, fastened with Fasten Master Ledger Locks/Head Locks. The benches are covered with the same materials as the deck.

We did rebuild the box/platform steps as the original ones had rotted away. Three boards wide with the same materials as the deck.

This customer chose to have us use the Coretex plug system from FastenMaster on the deck boards and fascia.

We used the FastenMaster Gapper tools and ZipClips on the field of this project and the guys love that system.

I have two 6’ sections of this Trex horizontal rod railing new in the box, that I over purchased for a job. They retail for over $600 per section, I’m selling them for $500 each. The restocking fee made it counter productive to return the special order item.
