Just received this new agave!
Agave Lophantha ‘Quadricolor’ x Ovatifolia ‘Vanzie’ Whale Tongue hybrid from Steves super gardens. I have to say I was a bit disappointed in the discoloration of the plant but oh well considering they are sold out and I mean after all it is a whale tongue hybrid. So anyway very excited for this new agave and let’s see what my Cactus Mix can do!

The Agave lophantha 'Quadricolor' x Ovatifolia 'Vanzie' is a highly sought-after succulent hybrid. It combines the colorful, variegated margins of A. lophantha with the broad, powdery blue, and symmetrical Whale's Tongue form of A. ovatifolia. This produces an eye-catching, robust rosette with striking blue-green recurved foliage and dark spiny margins.ev

After years of research and development with various soils and materials for numerous cactus and succulent species, I have formulated and made available my specialized cactus mix and bloom mix to help customers save time and resources while enjoying a high-quality ready-mix. All the ingredients used in this mix are listed in the front sticker label. 🏷️

Below ⬇️ is a comprehensive list of plants suitable for use with this soil, also instructions on how to best use this product.

CACTUS MIX 7.5lbs
Use on- Cacti, Agave, Aloe, Yucca, Succulents, Euphorbia.

Bloom Mix 9.5lbs
Use on- Euphorbia, Desert Rose, Roses, Native Flowering Plants or Shrubs.

Instructions:
-For small plants under 1gallon it is recommended to use mainly this soil.
-For bigger size plants 2gallon or more it is recommended to add and mix 25% of any soil of your choice for volume.
-You can also use this product to amend your store bought potting soil, garden soil and native soil by mixing equal parts.
-You can also use this product as a soil improver by adding a 1-2inch layer to the top of any potted plant or garden bed.
