An existing drainage system was creating major erosion issues. The catch basin at the bottom of the stone runoff channel had been improperly installed above grade and the basin and pipe was backfilled with gravel. This created an opportunity for the water to flow around the pipe, eroding the trench and washing out the slope. We were able to reset the basin properly, backfill and compact the trench with soil, and install seed and straw mat.

This holly tree was planted too close to the house and had started to cause issues: rubbing against the siding, crowding the foundation, and shading out the windows. It had outgrown the space and needed to be removed to prevent long-term damage.

We take extra care during removals like this to protect nearby plants and leave the surrounding landscape clean and intact.
