Project Update – Bristol Crossing, Flowood, MS

We’re making great progress on this porch ceiling transformation!

The homeowners wanted to move away from the original stained wood look and brighten up their outdoor living space with a clean, modern painted finish. After thorough surface preparation and priming, we’ve completed the first coat and are already seeing a dramatic difference.

Tomorrow we’ll be applying the second coat of Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Semi-Gloss in Shoji White to the back porch ceiling, bringing everything together for a smooth, durable finish built to last.

The lighter color is already helping open up the space and create a fresh, inviting atmosphere while still highlighting the craftsmanship of the tongue-and-groove ceiling.

🔨 Project Update – Bristol Crossing, Flowood, MS 🎨

Today we started a complete transformation of this beautiful screened-in porch!

The existing stained tongue-and-groove ceiling and wood framing are being converted from a stained finish to Sherwin-Williams Emerald® Urethane Trim Enamel Semi-Gloss in Shoji White. This color will brighten the space dramatically while complementing the home’s painted brick and modern farmhouse design.

Our process includes:

✔ Thorough cleaning and surface preparation
✔ Sanding and deglossing stained surfaces
✔ High-adhesion bonding primer
✔ Premium Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Semi-Gloss finish
✔ Careful masking and protection of all fixtures, furniture, screens, and surrounding surfaces

This porch already has great character, but the Shoji White finish is going to give it a completely different feel—cleaner, brighter, and more inviting for everyday living and entertaining.

Another custom project completed ✔️

We built and installed this custom floating desk using birch wood with a custom dark stain and protective finish, paired with steel supports for a clean modern look. We love creating pieces that are not only functional but also add character to a space.

From raw wood and sanding to stain and final installation, seeing the finished product come together is always worth it

We recently wrapped up this project for Mason Shook, and we’re proud of the transformation from start to finish. One of the biggest changes was removing the existing textured ceilings and taking them to a smooth finish, giving the home a cleaner, more updated look throughout.

This project included:

✔️ Texture removal and smooth ceiling finish
✔️ Drywall repair and finishing
✔️ Interior painting throughout the home
✔️ Cabinet refinishing throughout the home — converting stained cabinets to a painted finish
✔️ New cabinet hinges and updated hardware installation

The cabinet transformation alone completely changed the feel of the space. Taking the cabinets from stained wood to a clean painted finish along with updated hinges and hardware gave the home a fresh, updated appearance while keeping the character of the space.

Finished this project up yesterday.

This one started with removing an outdated fireplace that was taking up a lot of space in the room. We safely removed the fireplace, capped the gas line, relocated electrical, reframed the wall, installed new drywall, and completed all finishing work to leave it paint-ready.

The homeowner will be installing the crown molding and handling final primer/paint, but the heavy lifting is done—and this room already feels much bigger and more open.

Projects like this are always rewarding because the goal is simple: make it look like the fireplace was never there.

Finished product 🔥

We wrapped up the custom wainscoting installation on this dining room about a month ago and it completely transformed the space. After our trim work was complete, a wallpaper specialist came in and installed this incredible mural wallpaper—and the final result speaks for itself.

The combination of custom millwork, detailed trim, and that bold wallpaper design turned this room into a true statement piece. We love being part of projects where different trades come together to bring a homeowner’s vision to life.
