"Unnecessary Interface": Layering the hidden layers.
Drawing treats the architectural structure not merely as a load-bearing system, but as an abstract narrative
surface that directs both the gaze and the body. Oblique axes, translucent layers, and textured fields
detach the space from fixed reality and transform it into an uncertain mental construction. Within this
tense composition, the upward-looking figure creates a threshold between the observer and the structure,
while the suspended body questions architecture’s relationship with weight, direction, and balance. In this
way, the drawing produces a postmodern, fragmented, and multi-layered spatial representation where
the structural and the intuitive collide.
