At Grit & Grain Coastal Woodworks, we’re more than just a small family workshop — we’re a dad and his two little girls who love spending time together, turning simple pieces of wood into something meaningful. What started as a weekend hobby quickly became our favorite way to slow down, create memories, and share kindness through craftsmanship. Each project is a chance to laugh, learn, and spend ti

me together — sanding boards, picking out wood grains, and watching ideas come to life. Peyton, age 8, is our detail-driven designer with a big heart. She loves giving people surprises and seeing their smiles when they open something handmade just for them. Dakota, age 5, is our fearless helper and creative spark — always adding her own touch and keeping the shop filled with laughter and imagination. Together, we craft every cutting board and custom piece by hand with love, patience, and pride. For us, woodworking isn’t just a hobby — it’s a way to spend time as a family and make something that brings joy to others.
