Start your journey into the blue-collar workforce the right way. Introducing the CZK Electric LLC Mentor and Referral program. This is a 30-day unpaid program where you will work one-on-one with our owner Chris to explore if the electrical field is right for you. This is an opportunity to learn or prove your basic knowledge in a safe, low pressure, and controlled environment. Our program doesn't stop at work alone. Learn from our owner about the steps you should take to get where you want in life. Earn the resume reference and strong words of a Master Electrician and business owner who will always swear by his word. Whether you are learning for your personal DIY or need that reference for the "starting position" with another company. Potentially earn a paid position at CZK Electric. All it takes is the right mindset and the right set of values.

Who is this opportunity for? Anyone looking to start in the electrical field or simply those who want to do their own electrical work at home.

Work description:

Your first week:
You will shadow along with Chris on his jobs and estimates with some grunt work that may or may not be related to electrical. This is meant to prepare you both for active listening, absorbing knowledge and accepting that starting in the field a lot of your work will be "other responsibilities as necessary". This is a great time to ask questions about the field what to expect and what to do and not do. You can also ask any questions you have about the field.

The second week:
You will be given minor responsibilities and jobs in a controlled environment working only on circuits with Afci and/or Gfci protection and under the supervision of Chris to provide the safest learning environment possible. This will be a redundant week of pulling wires and installing outlets potentially that may not even serve a purpose other than to teach. This commonly feels frustrating to many but is an accurate reflection of how redundant our work can potentially be. You will be encouraged to make mistakes and receive minimum guidance until after your mistakes are made. I have found this to be the best way to teach something that actually sticks.

Week three:
If you show readiness you may be brought into the field to do minor work such as outlets and switches and also be tested on your knowledge of tools and materials by being a truck runner. The most frustrating thing an apprentice can do is go to the truck and not come back with the right thing.

Week four:
Panel swap. One of the most common and demanding things the electrical field has to offer. You will be given a panel and told to wire it from scratch in a safe and controlled environment. If you can get past that there is no reason you should not be ready for the field.
(Optional) Generac Generator basics: The New "Microwave" the biggest must have in home electrical the automatic home standby generator. We are fortunate to have a large inventory of Generac Generators. Some working, some not. It is a very overwhelming system that with the right teacher and the right approach can be made simple enough. You will have the opportunity to work hands-on with these $8k technical marvels under supervision to learn how to do a proper maintenance and install.

All work is subject to change: this is a part-time apprentice program. Adolescents are encouraged to have parental communication but not required.

Update to services: Going forward CZK Electric will no longer be working with "property managers" as it infringes upon our communication and personalized services. If you have a need for a form of middle management communication between the owner and CZK Electric the owner must be the one to communicate this and make clear mutual standards of communication. This will be reflected in our terms of service when updated by 02/01/2026
CZK Electric will always maintain the rights to refuse service.

For when your basic install just isn't good enough.
Here we see a customer service with a lot of street presence from high foot traffic and just not enough room to fit two different size boxes (meter and transfer switch) fortunately though many dealers do not offer this beautiful cabinet we have a meter and transfer switch all in one with pre-set SOLAR taps for future use. Conduit to hide the single wire strands and provide clean hole seals.

The next big thing in home power. The next model of Generac is soon to come with a new top size of 28Kw Air-cooled.
New features:
Standard Hydraulic Lifter Valves

Additional monitoring features including the much requested Oil level monitoring

New model disclaimer: Upon release of the new model we will no longer be servicing or installing any generators prior to the 2010 Nexus model.
